From no online presence
to a first job won through the site.
C&S Cleaning Services clean communal areas in blocks of flats. This is what happened in the first three months after launch, with the actual numbers.
A business its buyers
could not find
C&S Cleaning Services clean the communal areas of blocks of flats — entrance halls, stairwells, corridors and bin stores. The people who award that work are building managers and landlords, not householders.
They had no website and no Google presence. The business ran on word of mouth. That works until the referrals run out, and it does nothing when a managing agent is looking for a contractor in the area and starts, as they all do, with a search.
The job was to make the business findable to those buyers, and credible once they arrived.
The first three months,
plainly
These are early-stage numbers for a business that started from zero. They are presented as they are, without dressing up.
Over 5,000 search impressions
In three months. That is the number of times the business appeared in Google results — visibility that did not exist at all beforehand.
Around 50 clicks
People who saw the listing and chose to visit the site. A small number in absolute terms, and normal for a new site with no history in a specific local niche.
Enquiries, and one paid job
Those visits generated enquiries. One of them converted into a paid job — work that would not have arrived without the site being there to find.
Three months is early. The point of these figures is not that they are large — it is that they went from nothing to something measurable, and that the work now compounds: more pages, more searches covered, more chances to be the contractor a manager finds.
